Donations to Rochester A Better Chance are most welcome.

Rochester Better Chance is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization so your donations (including in-kind gifts) are tax
deductible. There are a variety of ways to contribute other than a traditional one-time donation that may make
it easy and work best for you. RBC enjoys minimal administrative expenses; the working board and resident
directors contribute their time and personal funds. This enables RBC to put 100 percent of donations toward
educating the students and operational expenses.

Hello. I’m the site coordinator for Community Food Response, and we’ve been thinking about you, as we sometimes have leftover food at the end of our distribution shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. All of our food is picked up from various restaurants, cafeterias and grocery stores each day that we’re open, and is distributed in containers of cooked/packaged entrees, sides, salads, sandwiches, fruit, desserts, etc. to our clients. What is leftover has been stored in refrigeration throughout the day and everything has been previously prepared and packaged in certified kitchens.
When we have donations to make, one of our volunteers will take boxes to various shelters and organizations in Rochester – usually around 7 PM on Mon., Wed. and Friday.
We always call ahead to see if you’re in need of food, and if so, which types.
Would you be interested in accepting food donations from CFR, when we have them?
    Thank you,
    Kari Dunn
